Burgon & Ball has been working with steel since 1730, when they first began manufacturing their famous steel sheep shears in Sheffield. In 2012 a range of stainless steel tools by Burgon & Ball were officially endorsed by the Royal Horticultural Society - possibly the ultimate accolade in the gardening industry. The stainless steel tools come with a lifetime manufacturer's guarantee, while the pruning tools and powder-coated tools come with a 10-year manufacturer's guarantee.
