
Phaseolus coccineus 10 Seeds
An ornamental edible with sprays of beautiful, soft salmon-pink flowers followed by long, flat green bean pods up to 20cm long. Crops heavily from late Summer through to Autumn. Also known as the ‘seven-year bean’, as the vines die back in Winter, and reemerge in Spring. Frost tender perennial with lush, fast-growing, green foliage on climbing vines up to 200cm high, requiring support. Full sun to light shade and well-drained soil. Sow direct in late Spring-Summer after the last frost. Sowing depth: 25mm
