A popular French heirloom producing vibrant reddish-orange, smooth-skinned, stout carrots 15cm long. Sweet and tender, early-maturing variety. Ideal for heavy soil types. Sow direct in moist, well-drained soil and keep moist until germination. For the sweetest carrots, sow while the weather is still warm in early autumn, to allow maturing during the cooler months. Full sun to light shade. Sowing depth: 5mm.
