One of the oldest heirloom beans, introduced in the 1800s as the first stringless cultivar. Highly productive variety producing clusters of tender green beans. Beans can be cooked whole if picked when young, or the more mature shelled white beans can be dried. Vigorous climber up to 250cm. Very easy to grow. Grows best in full sun and moist well-drained soil. Sow direct in late Spring-Summer after the last frost. Sowing depth: 40mm
