Hardy perennial culinary herb with serrated, aromatic leaves with a minty-aniseed flavour, and tall, upright, violet-blue flowers. Used to flavour tea, salads, soups and stir-fries. Attracts pollinators. Sow seeds on the surface of seed raising mix in seed trays and keep moist until germination. Full sun, moist, well-drained soil.
