Dainty, miniature snapdragon-like flowers growing in a profusion of amethyst, magenta and violet shades, with emerald-green, ferny foliage. Hardy annual growing up to 30cm. Easy to grow, and excellent for edging, rockeries and hanging baskets. Frost and drought tolerant. Open-pollinated and may self-seed. Best in full sun. Surface sow into seed trays in Autumn-Early winter, and Spring in cooler regions, and transplant when large enough to handle.
