Heavy yielding, compact climber growing up to 120cm with large, tender, flat green pods. The entire pea, including the shell can be eaten, therefore a true ‘mange-tout’ variety. RHS Award of Garden Merit winner, bred by Oregon State University. Open pollinated. Disease resistant. Sow seeds direct in trenches 5cm deep with a trellis or stakes for support. Sow from late Summer through to Autumn, and Spring in cooler climates. Prefers full sun, and moist, rich, well-drained soil.
