Heavy yielding, compact vine growing up to 60cm with crisp, sweet, edible green pods. Early maturing, heirloom variety. All American Selections winner bred in 1979. Open pollinated. Disease resistant. Hardy annual. Sow seeds direct in trenches 2cm deep with a small trellis or stakes for support. Sow from late Summer through to Autumn, and Spring in cooler climates. Prefers full sun, and moist, rich, well-drained soil.
