An Australian heirloom variety introduced in 1949. Dwarf or bush bean growing long green pods up to 20cm with attractive red seeds inside. Almost stringless when picked young. Excellent flavour. Grows best in full sun and moist well-drained soil. Staking not required. Sow direct in late Spring-Summer after the last frost. Sowing depth: 20mm.
