An Australian heirloom variety introduced in 1949. Bush bean producing tender, green pods up to 20cm long with attractive red seeds inside, that are almost stringless when picked young. Compact height up to 50cm. Excellent flavour. Grows best in full sun and moist well-drained soil. Sow direct in late Spring-Summer after the last frost. Sowing depth: 20mm
