100 seeds. Old American heirloom variety from 1892 with dark red globe-shaped beets up to 7cm. Early cropping with good resistance to downy mildew. Grow successively for a continuous harvest. Sow direct in moist, well-drained soil in Spring, Summer, and Autumn. Full sun to light shade. Sowing depth: 15mm.
