Capsicum annuum
50 seeds. A heavy-bearing heirloom variety with sweet, bell-shaped fruit growing up to 10cm. First introduced to gardeners in America in the 1920s. Young fruit are green but turn from yellow to red when left to fully mature. Can be eaten raw or cooked. Plants grow to 75cm. Suitable for pots or containers. Full sun. Moist, well-drained soil. Sow in seed trays in Spring and plant out after last frost. Sowing depth: 5mm.
