Digitalis purpurea. 200 seeds.
An improved variety of foxglove with soft, pastel apricot flowers and speckled throats. Masses of bell-shaped blooms on tall spires growing up to 180cm high, flowering from early Spring right into Summer. Frost hardy biennial. Excellent cut flower. Performs best in dappled shade in moist, well-drained soil. Sow in seed trays in late Summer-Autumn by pressing seeds onto the surface of seed-raising mix. Plant seedlings out in the garden at least 6 weeks before the first frost. Plants will overwinter in the garden and bloom the following Spring.
