French heirloom from the 1800s also known as the ‘Fairytale’ pumpkin. Large, ribbed fruit up to 8kg that ripens from green to a russet-brown, with firm, sweet, vibrant orange flesh. An excellent variety for baking. Stores well. Harvest when stem is brown and skin has fully coloured. Harvest with stems approx 6cm long. Sow direct or in seed trays in a sunny position from Spring to early Summer. Sowing depth: 20mm
