Schizanthus x wisetonensis
300 Seeds
Dainty, two-toned orchid-like flowers in an array of pink, white and mauve shades with spotted throat patterns. Schizanthus is native to Chile, and this cross between S. pinnatus and S. retusus is now a stable, open-pollinated variety that is over 100 years old. Compact, slightly trailing growth habit with branching, fern-like foliage up to 40cm high. Easy to grow annual. Grows well in pots and hanging baskets. Pinch back stems to encourage more flowers. Full sun or part shade in moist, well-drained soil. Sow direct or in seed trays in Spring-Autumn. Sowing depth: 3mm
