Traditional cottage garden flower popular in Victorian times. Open pollinated, half-hardy biennial. An excellent cut flower with scented double-white blooms up to 75cm high on single stems. Budding tips may be pinched out for more compact flower clusters. Also suitable for pots and containers. Full sun to part shade. Blooms best during cooler weather. Sow in seed trays or punnets in early Spring and transplant when true leaves appear. Plant out into borders after last frost. Sowing depth: 3mm
