Tomato 'Cherokee Purple' Seeds

Solanum lycopersicum. 50 Seeds.

A striking beefsteak-type tomato with large, ribbed dusty-rose fruit and dark purple to black accents.  Old Cherokee heirloom, pre 1890. Excellent full flavour and meaty flesh. Prolific producer. Indeterminate, growing up to 1.5m and requiring support. May also be grown in pots or containers. Grow in full sun in moist, well-drained soil and feed regularly with a liquid fertiliser.  Sow in seed trays in Spring and plant out after last frost. Sowing depth 6mm.
