A favourite Italian heirloom with medium sized, red, pear-shaped fruit. Rich, full flavour and firm flesh, perfect for paste and pasta sauce. Heavy producer. Indeterminate variety requiring support. May also be grown in pots or containers. Grow in full sun in moist, well-drained soil and feed regularly with a liquid fertiliser.Sow in seed trays in Spring and plant out after last frost. Sowing depth 6mm.
