A favourite classic Italian heirloom variety from the 18th century. Early, large, cylindrical fruits with a full flavour, popular for sauces and pastes. Indeterminate. Requires staking. Full sun. Moist, well-drained soil. Sow in seed trays in Spring and plant out after last frost. Sowing depth 5mm.
